Huawei’s latest flagship, the Mate 90 Pro Max, brings an unusual feature that allows users to have three SIM connections active simultaneously. The phone was launched in China alongside the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, and Mate 90 RS.

The feature was highlighted by an X user and is also confirmed on Huawei’s official specifications page for the Mate 90 Pro Max.
The Mate 90 Pro Max supports two physical SIM cards and two eSIMs, while allowing two physical SIMs and one eSIM to remain active at the same time. Huawei notes that two of the three active connections must be from the same Chinese carrier.

The smartphone is powered by the Kirin 9050 Pro chipset and features a 6.9 inch display, a triple rear camera system, and a 6,800mAh battery.
