What’s the most annoying trope in books or movies?
For me, it’s “the misunderstanding that could be solved with one simple conversation.”
Two characters spend half the movie or book angry at each other because one overheard half a sentence, saw something out of context, or refused to ask a basic question.
Like, just TALK to each other. It would solve 90% of the plot.
