Infinix Hot 70 Pro arrives in India with 144Hz display and 6,000mAh battery

Infinix has officially launched the Hot 70 Pro in India, following its global unveiling in July. The new smartphone brings a high refresh rate display, a large battery and a Dimensity chipset to the Indian market.

The Infinix Hot 70 Pro is available in Mirage Green, Dive Blue, Silk Glow Purple and Thermo Orange. It comes in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations priced at INR24,999 and INR27,999 respectively. Sales will begin on September 12 through Infinix’s Indian website, Flipkart and retail stores.

The Hot 70 Pro is powered by the Dimensity 7100 chipset and runs Android 16 based XOS 16. Infinix has promised three Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the smartphone.

The phone features a 6.76 inch LCD with a 2,344 x 1,080 pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 910 nits of HBM brightness. A centered punch hole houses the 8MP selfie camera.

On the rear, the Hot 70 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera alongside an auxiliary sensor and Infinix’s Active Matrix Cube.

A dedicated AI button is positioned on the right side of the phone and can be configured to perform different actions. Power comes from a 6,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging, 10W reverse wired charging and bypass charging support.

Other features include an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, NFC, a side mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated microSD card slot for expanding the storage.

The Infinix Hot 70 Pro will go on sale in India from September 12.
