HMD appears to be preparing a new version of its recently launched Asha 305. The company introduced the Asha 305 in July, and a new leak has now revealed marketing images and specifications for the upcoming Asha 305 Pro.

As its name suggests, the Asha 305 Pro is expected to offer several upgrades over the standard model. According to a usually reliable source covering HMD devices, the phone will feature a 5 inch FWVGA Fluid LCD display.

The Asha 305 Pro is also tipped to come with a 5MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash, while the front will house a 2MP selfie camera with its own LED flash. The phone is expected to have 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a removable 2,500mAh battery.

Under the hood, the device will reportedly use the Unisoc T137 chipset and run HMD’s Pulse OS. Connectivity options are said to include Wi Fi, LTE and Bluetooth 4.2, while a 3.5mm headphone jack will also be present.

The Asha 305 Pro is expected to be offered in black and pink finishes. It will also carry an IP52 rating, providing some protection against dust and water splashes.

Compared with the regular Asha 305, the Pro model brings a higher resolution main camera, an LED flash for the selfie camera, twice as much internal storage and an IP rating for added durability.
