Xiaomi 17T Pro wins EISA Smartphone award, while Honor, Oppo and Samsung also take honors

The Expert Imaging and Sound Association has announced its 2026 to 2027 smartphone awards, with Xiaomi, Honor, Oppo and Samsung all receiving recognition across different categories.

The awards are decided by multiple EISA member publications, with each winning device having been reviewed by at least five participating publications during the year.

The Xiaomi 17T Pro took home the EISA Smartphone award, with its camera system, display, flagship chipset and long lasting battery highlighted as some of its strongest features.

Honor’s Magic V6 won the EISA Foldable Smartphone award. EISA praised its large battery capacity, IP ratings, displays and overall performance.

The Oppo Find X9 Ultra received the EISA Photo & Video Smartphone award for its advanced camera system. EISA described the phone as raising the standard for smartphone photography and compared its capabilities to super zoom cameras.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 Ultra was named the EISA AI Smartphone. Its AI features, including Now Brief, Now Nudge and the AI powered Photo Assist suite, were among the reasons for the award. EISA also highlighted its built in Privacy Display and machine learning powered privacy alerts.

Samsung picked up another award with the Galaxy Buds4 Pro winning the EISA In Ear Headphones category. The earbuds were praised for their Enhanced Adaptive ANC, AI powered Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect feature and clear call quality.
