Reports surrounding Apple’s upcoming iPhone Ultra have taken another turn. After a supply chain claim last week suggested the device could face a delay, fresh information now indicates that the flagship model remains on schedule for its expected debut.

The earlier delay report was quickly challenged by a well-known leaker on Weibo, and a new supply chain source has now echoed that skepticism. According to an unnamed individual working with an Apple supplier, the iPhone Ultra is still expected to be unveiled in September alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
A separate source within the supply chain reportedly stated that there has been no indication of any postponement affecting the device’s launch plans.
While the latest information points to a September announcement, availability may be a different story. Industry observers believe Apple could introduce the iPhone Ultra at its usual fall event but delay retail availability until several weeks later, potentially after the initial release of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

Such a strategy would not be unusual for Apple, which has previously staggered the launch dates of certain products despite unveiling them at the same event.
For now, the evidence suggests that the iPhone Ultra remains on track for a 2026 launch. Whether customers can purchase it immediately after the announcement or have to wait a little longer remains unclear, but current supply chain reports indicate that Apple’s most anticipated new iPhone is still moving forward as planned.
