vivo is gearing up to unveil the X200T in India on January 27, and if current rumors are accurate, the company will follow that up with the launch of the vivo V70 series next month. The lineup is expected to include two models — the vivo V70 and the vivo V70 Elite. While vivo has not officially shared details about the V70 series yet, a leaked render of the V70 Elite has now surfaced online, giving us an early look at its design and key specifications.
According to the leak, the vivo V70 will be offered in Passion Red and Lemon Yellow color options, while the more premium V70 Elite will be available in Passion Red, Sand Beige, and Black. The leaked render showcases the V70 Elite in black and reveals a flat display, a glass-and-metal construction, and a distinctive squircle-shaped camera module on the rear panel, giving the phone a refined and modern appearance.

On the hardware front, the source claims that the vivo V70 Elite will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, positioning it as a flagship-grade device. The standard vivo V70, on the other hand, is said to feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC. Both smartphones are expected to sport a 6.59-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smooth visuals and vibrant colors. Powering the devices will reportedly be a sizable 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging.
Software-wise, the vivo V70 and V70 Elite are tipped to run Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box. In terms of photography, both models are rumored to feature a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP 3x ZEISS Night telephoto lens, indicating a strong focus on low-light and zoom photography.
The V70 series is also expected to include India-specific camera enhancements, such as an AI Holi Festival Portrait Mode. Additional features like AI Magic Weather and Flower Blessing are said to be part of the package as well, designed to capture local festivities with cultural nuance.
As per current information, the vivo V70 and V70 Elite are rumored to launch in mid-February in India, with pricing expected to stay under INR 55,000. While official confirmation is still pending, these leaks suggest vivo is preparing a compelling mid-to-premium smartphone lineup for the Indian market.
