HMD has introduced the Nokia 2360 Flip, a new feature phone featuring a clamshell design and Family Assist functionality. Targeted at school students and senior citizens, the device comes with two displays and a dedicated SOS button.

The Nokia 2360 Flip’s main highlight is its Family Assist feature, which allows family members to manage the phone remotely. They can add contacts, adjust volume levels, set reminders, and control other device settings without needing physical access to the phone.

The phone also includes a dedicated SOS button on its rear panel. Pressing the button automatically calls a pre-set emergency contact and sends an alert message to up to five contacts.

However, the Nokia 2360 Flip only supports 2G connectivity, which could limit its usefulness in regions where 2G networks have already been discontinued.

In terms of specifications, the Nokia 2360 Flip features a 2.8-inch main display alongside a 1.77-inch external screen. Other features include a removable 1,450mAh battery, a loudspeaker, a QVGA camera, 4MB of internal storage, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Nokia 2360 Flip will be offered in Burgundy Red, Charcoal, and Teal colour options. HMD has not yet announced its pricing or availability details.
