Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Clip Neo earbuds in China alongside the Redmi K100. The new open-ear earbuds follow the company’s first clip-on model, the Xiaomi Clip-on, which debuted in May alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max. The Redmi Clip Neo offers a similar clip-on design at half the original model’s launch price.

Unlike conventional earbuds that rely on friction to stay in place, the Redmi Clip Neo wraps around the ear. Each earbud uses a flexible 0.6mm memory titanium wire designed to provide flexibility and has reportedly survived 25,000 bending tests. The sections that touch the ear are made from skin-friendly silicone for long-term comfort, while each earbud weighs just 5.3g.

The earbuds feature 12mm drivers with a dual-magnetic design that Xiaomi claims increases volume by 40%. Their diamond-coated diaphragms are designed to deliver faster transient response. Two microphones support AI-powered noise reduction during calls, although this feature does not apply to music playback. Users also get a built-in 10-band equalizer with customizable settings and four presets.

Battery life is rated at up to seven hours on a single charge, with the charging case extending total listening time to 32 hours. The Redmi Clip Neo also supports multipoint connectivity and automatic fast connection when the charging case is opened.

One unusual feature is the inclusion of physical buttons on both earbuds. A single press pauses or resumes playback, two presses skip to the next track, and three presses return to the previous track. A long press activates an AI assistant, with the functionality also supported on iPhones.

The Redmi Clip Neo is available through Xiaomi’s online store in China for CNY 400, approximately $60, €54, or ₹5,700. A limited-edition version costs CNY 450 and includes a CryingCenter-branded carrying pouch, a sticker set, and custom gift packaging.

For comparison, the original Xiaomi Clip-on earbuds launched at CNY 800, making the Redmi Clip Neo half as expensive. Buyers can choose between Zero Black and Pearl White color options.
