Motorola has officially introduced the Moto G47 Power in Europe. Rather than replacing the Moto G47, which launched in April, the new device joins the existing lineup with a significantly larger battery, increasing capacity from 5,200mAh to 7,000mAh. The phone also matches the design shown in earlier leaked renders and the specifications revealed by an EPREL listing earlier this month.
LCharging speeds have increased from 20W to 30W, while the phone also supports 6W wired reverse charging for powering other devices. Motorola claims the Moto G47 Power can deliver up to 78 hours of battery life on a single charge. However, the larger battery makes the device heavier and thicker than the standard G47. It measures 166.23 x 76.5 x 8.89mm and weighs 215g, compared with the original model’s 7.9mm thickness and 191g weight.
The rest of the specifications remain largely unchanged. The Moto G47 Power features a 6.67-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,050 nits in High Brightness Mode. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Motorola offers no additional memory configurations, but users can expand storage through the dedicated microSD card slot.
For photography, the Moto G47 Power features a 108MP main rear camera alongside a 2MP macro sensor. An 8MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls. The device also retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance, MIL-STD-810H certification, NFC, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. However, the phone runs Android 16 out of the box despite Android 17 having been released months earlier.
The Moto G47 Power is available in three Pantone color options: Capri, Nautical Blue, and Impenetrable. The Capri finish replaces the Fuchsia Red option offered with the standard Moto G47. Pricing starts at €339 in the European Union and £299 in the United Kingdom.
