Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi K100 will launch in China on October 28, revealing its design and key specifications. The phone will join the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which were unveiled in August. Preorders are already open in China.

The Redmi K100 will be available in a new Firefly Green color option. It will feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset paired with Xiaomi’s D2 display chip. The company has also confirmed support for a 165Hz refresh rate in more than 40 games.

The phone will pack a large 10,000mAh battery and feature a 6.83 inch AMOLED display with peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. It will run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 4 out of the box.

Alongside the Redmi K100, Xiaomi will also introduce the Clip Neo open ear earphones at the launch event.
