Apple unveiled the iPhone Duo, its first foldable smartphone, at its September launch event alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max. Preorders for the iPhone Duo open on October 16, with shipping scheduled to begin on October 23.

With initial supplies expected to be limited, Apple has launched its Get Ready service to help customers prepare their orders in advance and improve their chances of securing the device.

The service allows customers to select their preferred options before preorders open at 5 AM PT or 8 AM ET on Friday. Once ordering begins, they can complete the purchase with a single tap or click.

Customers can choose their preferred colour and storage capacity, select a carrier, add accessories, choose an AppleCare+ plan and arrange a trade in. They can also enter their payment details and set their billing and shipping addresses before preorders begin.

Once everything is ready, customers simply need to press the preorder button on Friday to submit their order.

Apple’s Get Ready service is available through the company’s website and the Apple Store app.
