OnePlus has officially announced the launch date for the upcoming OnePlus 16 in China. The announcement was made at the company’s 2026 OnePlus Gaming Conference, where it also revealed more details about the flagship’s gaming capabilities.

The OnePlus 16 will launch in China on October 12. The phone was recently confirmed to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, and it will feature a 185Hz refresh rate display with support for native 185fps gaming in titles including Arena Breakout, Nizhan: Future, Naruto Mobile, and Peace Elite.

The phone will also feature a custom display chip, a dedicated touch response chip, and another chip focused on connectivity.

The OnePlus 16 will support a system wide 165Hz refresh rate outside of supported gaming scenarios.

For photography, the phone will feature a 200MP primary rear camera and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera. It will also be available in three color options when it goes on sale.
