After weeks of teasers, itel has officially launched the A300C, an affordable rugged Android 16 Go Edition smartphone. It is priced at ₹11,000 and comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone also supports microSD cards up to 2TB, allowing users to expand the available storage.

The A300C carries MIL STD 810H certification and has been drop tested, although it does not have an official dust or water resistance rating. itel is offering a free screen replacement during the first 100 days after purchase.

The phone features a 6.56 inch LCD with a 720 x 1,612px resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. A 5MP selfie camera sits inside the display notch, while the rear camera uses an 8MP sensor.

Powering the phone is a 6,000mAh battery, which is larger than what is typically found on affordable smartphones. It supports 18W charging through USB C. Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a speaker with DTS sound, and a fingerprint reader integrated into the Power button.

The A300C is powered by the Unisoc T7100 chipset, the same processor used in the similar itel A90. It runs Android 16 Go Edition and supports 4G connectivity. While India has not announced an official 4G shutdown date, carriers are increasingly focusing on their 5G networks, making a newer 5G capable chipset preferable.

At ₹11,000, the A300C remains focused on affordability while offering a large battery and rugged construction. The box also includes a charger and a protective case. The phone will be sold through itel retail outlets across India and online.
