After launching the Redmi Note 17 in India last month, Redmi has now introduced the Note 17 Pro and Note 17 Pro Max in the country.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro features a 6.83 inch 1280 x 2772 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,500 nits peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and has a 50MP f/1.8 main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 16MP selfie camera. The phone packs a 9,000mAh battery with 67W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. A 67W charger is included.

The phone has IP66, IP68, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance, while SGS certification confirms drop resistance from heights of up to 3 meters onto smooth granite. It runs Android 16 with HyperOS 3 and will receive four major OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro comes in Purple Vibe, Cloud Blue, and Stealth Black. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model costs INR 36,999 ($385), while the 8GB RAM and 256GB version is priced at INR 39,999 ($417). Sales begin September 17.

The Redmi Note 17 Pro Max features the same display, but upgrades to a 50MP main camera with a wider f/1.5 aperture, alongside the same 8MP ultrawide camera. It also gets a 32MP selfie camera, Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, and a larger 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and 27W reverse wired charging. The software support and IP ratings remain the same.

The Pro Max is available in Stealth Black, Matcha Green, and Secret Sunrise. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs INR 49,999 ($521), while the 12GB RAM and 256GB model is priced at INR 55,999 ($584). Sales begin September 23.
