iQOO has revealed the launch date and color options for its upcoming iQOO 16 after recently teasing the phone’s redesigned rear camera module. The company also confirmed that the smartphone will feature Samsung’s new M16 display panel with a 165Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution.

The iQOO 16 will launch in China on September 29 and will go on sale on the same day, according to the company. Pre orders for the smartphone are already available through iQOO’s online store in China.

iQOO has also confirmed three color options for the upcoming phone. The iQOO 16 will be available in Chasing Light, Legend, which features a silver gray finish, and Race Track, which comes in purple.

Beyond the display, iQOO has not yet confirmed the remaining specifications of the smartphone. Recent leaks suggest that the iQOO 16 could feature an 8,400mAh battery and use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset.

iQOO is also expected to launch the Pad Ultra alongside the iQOO 16 at the September 29 event.
