Apple has started rolling out iOS 27 to users worldwide. The latest update brings several improvements, including refinements to Liquid Glass, app load times that can be up to 30% faster, redesigned Spotlight, Photos, and Mail search, as well as Apple’s revamped Siri AI.

Siri AI is launching in beta with English only support and will initially be unavailable in the EU. Support for French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish is expected to arrive in October. Apple is also rolling out iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, and visionOS 27 to compatible devices.

The iOS 27 update became available at 10AM PT, 1PM ET, and 5PM UTC, with millions of users receiving it around the world at the same time. iOS 27 supports the same iPhone lineup as iOS 26, meaning Apple’s latest software is available on devices dating back to 2019.

The supported iPhones include the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, iPhone Duo, iPhone 17, iPhone Air, iPhone 17e, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The update also supports the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16e, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, along with the entire iPhone 15 lineup, including the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro, and 15 Pro Max.

Older supported models include the iPhone 14, 14 Plus, 14 Pro, and 14 Pro Max, as well as the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. The iPhone 12 lineup, including the iPhone 12 mini, 12 Pro, and 12 Pro Max, is also eligible.

Apple is also supporting the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE from 2020, and iPhone SE from 2022.

Since iOS 27 is being rolled out to millions of devices simultaneously, it may take some time before the update appears on your iPhone. You can manually check by going to Settings, General, Software Update, and checking for the iOS 27 update.
