Honor recently revealed the design of its upcoming Magic9 series without sharing any specifications. While an earlier leak suggested the lineup would include two models, a new report claims Honor will launch the base Magic9, Magic9 Pro Max and a Magic9 Super Edition.

According to a Weibo tipster, all three Honor Magic9 models will use the same rear camera design shown in the company’s recent official renders.

The Magic9 Super Edition is reportedly set to feature a 6.8 inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It is said to include a 200MP primary rear camera alongside 12MP and 50MP sensors, although the camera system reportedly will not carry ARRI branding.

The biggest highlight of the Super Edition is its rumored 11,000mAh battery. The phone is also tipped to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a built in cooling fan, a fiberglass body and a single front facing camera.

The standard Honor Magic9 is reportedly set to feature a 6.37 inch display and an 8,000mAh battery. It is also expected to offer dual 200MP rear cameras co developed with ARRI, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and a single 3D front facing camera.

The Honor Magic9 Pro Max is said to feature a 6.8 inch display and a metal body. The flagship could offer dual 200MP rear cameras, a 1:1 front facing camera sensor paired with a 3D ToF camera, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Extreme chipset and an 8,800mAh battery.

The Honor Magic9 series is scheduled to launch on September 28. Interested buyers in China can already pre order the smartphones through Honor’s official online store.
