vivo has officially launched the T5 5G in India, expanding its T5 lineup to six models. The new smartphone focuses on performance, a premium design and long battery life, with the company targeting young users looking for a powerful everyday device.

The vivo T5 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and comes with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Storage goes up to 256GB using UFS 3.1, while the phone runs Android 16 with OriginOS 6. vivo is also promising three Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
On the front is a 6.83 inch 3D curved AMOLED display with a 2,800 x 1,260 pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel features a punch hole for the 32MP selfie camera, while an under display fingerprint scanner handles biometric authentication.

The rear features vivo’s Skyline Camera Module, which houses a circular flash alongside two cameras. These include a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide camera. Both the selfie camera and main camera can record 4K video at 30fps.
Powering the phone is a large 7,050mAh battery with support for 44W charging. Other features include dual stereo speakers, a 3,800mm² VC cooling system, MIL STD 810H certification, and IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance. The display also supports wet touch, allowing it to remain responsive when used with wet hands.

The vivo T5 5G is available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green. There are four configurations: 6GB/128GB for INR 34,999, 8GB/128GB for INR 39,999, 8GB/256GB for INR 44,999, and 12GB/256GB for INR 49,999. Sales begin in India on September 9 through vivo’s website, Flipkart and partner retail stores.
The vivo T5 5G may look familiar because it is essentially a version of the iQOO Z11 that went on sale in India last week, sharing the same overall design and specifications.
