Poco has officially confirmed that its new F9 series will launch globally next month, with the lineup consisting of the Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra. The company has also revealed the design and colour options for both smartphones.

The Poco F9 Pro and F9 Ultra will be unveiled during an online global event on September 1.

Poco has showcased the F9 Ultra in a Dark Cherry finish and the F9 Pro in Aurora Green. The designs also appear to confirm earlier reports that both smartphones are rebranded versions of the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max.

Although Poco has not yet revealed the specifications, a recent leak claims to have uncovered almost everything about the upcoming phones. While they are reportedly based on their Redmi counterparts, the Poco versions are expected to feature smaller batteries.

The Poco F9 Pro is tipped to pack a 6,330mAh battery, while the F9 Ultra is reportedly equipped with an 8,050mAh cell. Other specifications are expected to remain largely identical to the corresponding Redmi models.

Pricing is also said to start at around €799 for the Poco F9 Pro, while the F9 Ultra could reportedly cost approximately €999.
