Google’s Pixel 11 Pro Fold has gone through a durability test from Zack of JerryRigEverything, and the results suggest the company has once again failed to address a structural weakness seen on its previous foldable phones.

The test begins with the usual scratch tests before moving on to the flame test. Zack then exposes the Pixel 11 Pro Fold to sand and grit to see how well its moving parts and exterior handle debris.

The biggest issue appears during the final bend test. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold cracks along both antenna lines, repeating the same failure seen on Google’s previous three foldable generations.

This means Google has seemingly carried the same structural weakness into its fourth consecutive foldable device.

The test also revealed another issue that was not seen in exactly the same way on the previous models. During the bending process, the front glass also came loose from the device.

While the Pixel 11 Pro Fold survived several parts of the durability test, its repeated antenna line failure raises questions about whether Google has done enough to strengthen the foldable’s construction.
