vivo has officially confirmed the launch date of the V80 Lite 5G, and the upcoming smartphone is set to arrive with an enormous 10,000mAh battery.

The vivo V80 Lite recently appeared in an Instagram post from an Indian retailer, suggesting that its launch was approaching. Now, vivo Malaysia has confirmed that the V80 Lite 5G will officially debut in the country on September 3.

The company has also revealed the phone’s design and confirmed its massive battery capacity. The smartphone will be offered in Black, Green and Pink, with a flat frame and flat rear panel.

A square shaped camera module sits on the back and houses a 50MP primary camera. However, the newly revealed design differs from an earlier teaser from India, which showed the V80 Lite with a curved display.

This could mean vivo will release different versions of the V80 Lite with varying designs depending on the market. The Indian model is also expected to be a rebranded version of the recently launched vivo S2.
