Tecno has officially confirmed that the Camon 50 Ultra will launch in India on July 17. The smartphone was originally unveiled in March and is now preparing to enter one of Tecno’s key markets.

The company is positioning the Camon 50 Ultra as a device aimed at creators, storytellers, and photography enthusiasts. Tecno says the smartphone is designed to help users capture important moments as they happen, with a strong focus on imaging capabilities.

While pricing and availability details for India have not yet been revealed, Tecno is expected to announce those details during the launch event next week.

The Camon 50 Ultra is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset and features a 144Hz AMOLED display. One of its biggest highlights is the camera system, which includes three 50MP cameras, consisting of a 50MP front facing camera and two 50MP rear cameras.

Battery capacity varies by region, with some markets receiving a 6,150mAh unit while others get a larger 6,500mAh battery. It is currently unclear which version will be available in India.

More details regarding pricing, storage options, and the exact battery configuration for the Indian market will be revealed when the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra officially launches on July 17.
