Lenovo has released a new teaser video for its upcoming gaming tablet, offering the clearest look yet at the device ahead of its official launch in August.

The tablet appears to be called the Legion Y700 Ultimate, although the name is based on machine translated material from China and has not yet been officially confirmed for global markets.
One of the biggest additions is 5G connectivity. The Legion Y700 Ultimate features both a physical SIM card slot and eSIM support, allowing dual SIM dual standby functionality. Lenovo also highlights a redesigned antenna system that is designed to maintain a stable connection regardless of how the tablet is held during gaming sessions.
The new model retains a compact and portable form factor similar to the Legion Y700 (Gen 5), which launched in March without 5G support. While Lenovo has not revealed the full specifications yet, the tablet appears to have a similar size to its predecessor.

For reference, the Legion Y700 (Gen 5) features an 8.8 inch display with a resolution of 1904 × 3040 pixels and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It remains unclear whether the upcoming Legion Y700 Ultimate will use the same processor.
Lenovo says more information about the tablet will be shared in the coming weeks as the August launch approaches.
