After months of speculation surrounding the cost of one of the most anticipated games in history, Rockstar Games has officially confirmed the pricing for Grand Theft Auto VI ahead of pre-orders opening on June 25.

The standard edition of GTA VI will be priced at $80, while players looking for additional content can purchase the Ultimate Edition for $100. The announcement puts an end to rumors that the game could launch at a significantly higher price point and places it in line with the premium pricing increasingly seen across major AAA releases.

Players who pre-order the digital version will be able to pre-load the game beginning November 12, allowing them to start playing immediately when GTA VI launches on November 19. Rockstar has also confirmed that physical editions will not include a game disc, instead containing a download code inside the retail packaging. Owners of the physical version will likewise gain access to the game from November 12.

The Ultimate Edition includes a range of bonus content, such as exclusive weapons, vehicles, clothing items, and tattoos that can be accessed throughout the game’s story experience.

Rockstar is also offering an additional incentive for early buyers. Anyone who pre-orders the game or purchases it before November 20 will receive the Vintage Vice City Pack. The bonus package includes a 1955 Vapid Stanier sedan, a dedicated garage, retro-inspired outfits and hairstyles from the 1980s, and a special pastel-themed weapon skin.

With pricing now confirmed and pre-orders set to begin, attention will shift toward the game’s November release, which is expected to be one of the biggest entertainment launches of the decade.
