A new leak has provided updated details about the upcoming Redmi K100 Pro, refining some of the specifications that surfaced last week.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K100 Pro will feature a battery capacity beginning with the number eight, placing it somewhere between 8,000mAh and 9,000mAh. Earlier reports had suggested a battery exceeding 9,000mAh, but the latest information points to a slightly smaller capacity.

Even so, the device could still become one of the largest-battery smartphones in the Redmi K series. However, it would not necessarily surpass the Redmi K90 Max, which reportedly packs an 8,550mAh battery.

The updated leak also adds a new charging detail. While previous information mentioned 100W wired charging, the latest report claims the Redmi K100 Pro will support 50W wireless charging as well.

Powering the phone is expected to be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The leak also references a “dual-core platform,” suggesting the inclusion of an additional chip similar to the Xiaomi D2 found in previous Redmi models. That secondary processor could assist with AI-related tasks and graphics processing.

Display specifications remain equally ambitious. The Redmi K100 Pro is rumored to feature a 185Hz screen, potentially aided by the additional chip to achieve such high refresh rates in supported applications and games. The display is also described as an “Ultra-clear display,” a term Xiaomi has previously used for some of its premium monitors and televisions.

For photography, the phone is expected to feature a 200MP primary camera paired with a 50MP telephoto sensor capable of macro photography. Other rumored features include symmetrical stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and a fully waterproof design that could carry an IP69 rating. The handset is also said to adopt a design inspired by Apple’s aesthetic.

Meanwhile, leaks have also begun emerging about a potential Redmi K100 Pro Max. That device is rumored to feature a larger 1/1.28-inch 200MP main camera sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera, and Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset. However, reports suggest pricing for the higher-end model could be significantly higher than expected.
