Valve has confirmed that its upcoming Steam Machine and Steam Frame devices, first unveiled in November last year, are scheduled to arrive this summer. The announcement came through a brief blog post that primarily focused on the company’s Verified program.

The post was directed at developers and revealed that both the Steam Machine and Steam Frame will be added to the Verified program. Originally introduced alongside the Steam Deck, the program helps users understand how well a game performs on a device before making a purchase.
According to Valve, the requirements for games to earn a Verified badge on the Steam Machine will be nearly the same as those used for the Steam Deck. For the Steam Frame VR headset, the badge will indicate that a game delivers a complete standalone experience straight out of the box, without requiring connection to additional hardware.

Beyond the confirmation that both products are arriving this summer, Valve did not share any further details. Pricing also remains undisclosed, though sources familiar with the situation suggest launch prices may be higher than expected due to increasing memory chip costs. Valve has already raised Steam Deck prices, with current restocked models selling for $789 or $949 depending on the version, representing an increase of roughly $300.
