Realme is preparing to officially unveil the Realme 16T on May 22, but ahead of the launch, new leaks have already revealed the device’s expected pricing, specifications, and live images.
According to information shared by a tipster on X, the upcoming smartphone will reportedly launch in India with three storage configurations. The base model with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is expected to cost INR 29,999, while the 8GB + 128GB version could be priced at INR 31,999. The highest-end variant featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage may retail for INR 33,999.

Alongside the pricing details, leaked live images of the Realme 16T and its retail packaging have also surfaced online, giving an early look at the device before its official debut.
The leaks suggest the phone will feature a 6.8-inch LCD display with a 144Hz refresh rate, positioning it as a gaming-focused or performance-oriented device in the mid-range segment. Powering the handset is expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
On the camera side, the smartphone is rumored to include a 50MP primary rear camera paired with a secondary 2MP decorative sensor, while selfies and video calls may be handled by a 16MP front-facing camera.

One of the standout features of the Realme 16T could be its enormous 8,000mAh battery. Realme has already confirmed support for 45W wired charging, bypass charging, and reverse wired charging. The company is also promoting a “seven-year battery health” promise, alongside a six-year guarantee for lag-free scrolling performance.
The device is said to measure 8.88mm in thickness and will reportedly carry an IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, offering higher durability than many competitors in the same price range.
According to the leaked information, the Realme 16T will ship with Android 16 out of the box and will be available in Starlight Red, Starlight Black, and Aurora Green color options.
