Lenovo is officially making a return to the smartphone space with a refreshed version of the Lenovo Legion Y70, and a newly released teaser video has given us an early look at what to expect.

The upcoming model appears to be a completely new device despite reusing the Legion Y70 name from 2022—likely to capitalize on existing brand recognition, especially in the Chinese market.

From the teaser, the phone features a design heavily inspired by Motorola, which isn’t surprising given Lenovo owns the brand. This design reuse could help streamline development while maintaining a familiar look.

While detailed specifications are still under wraps, Lenovo is clearly leaning into AI features, suggesting the device will be built with modern smart capabilities in mind.

What’s confirmed, however, is the launch date—the new Legion Y70 will be officially unveiled on May 19. With several weeks to go, more teasers and full specs are expected to surface before the big reveal.
