Tecno is clearly doubling down on battery life this year, as new certification listings reveal impressive upgrades for both the Tecno Pova 8 and Tecno Spark 50 Pro.

The Pova 8, which was previously showcased at MWC, has now appeared in a TUV listing confirming a massive 7,750mAh battery. That’s a huge jump from its predecessor’s 6,000mAh cell and positions it as one of the most battery-focused smartphones in its segment.
Meanwhile, the Spark 50 Pro is also getting a notable upgrade, with a 5,800mAh battery—an increase over the Spark 40 Pro’s 5,200mAh capacity. While not as extreme as the Pova 8, it still represents a solid improvement for everyday endurance.
These gains are reportedly made possible by Si/C (silicon-carbon) battery technology, which allows for higher energy density without significantly increasing size.
All signs point to Tecno prioritizing long-lasting performance, meaning both devices should comfortably handle heavy usage without frequent charging—something power users will definitely appreciate.
