Honor 600 tipped to arrive with a slightly larger display and a massive battery

Honor only launched the Honor 500 back in November, but early leaks suggest the company is already preparing its successor. Fresh information coming out of China has now revealed a few key details about the upcoming Honor 600.

According to the leak, the Honor 600 will feature a 6.57-inch display. This is a small bump compared to the 6.55-inch screen on the Honor 500, but it still points to a subtle refinement rather than a major redesign. The more eye-catching upgrade, however, is the battery.

The Honor 600 is reportedly being tested with a huge 9,000 mAh battery. That would be an increase of 1,000 mAh over its predecessor and, if it makes it to the final product, could be one of the largest batteries ever seen in a smartphone of this size. Such a capacity would put battery life firmly at the center of the Honor 600’s appeal.

For now, these are the only details that have surfaced. There is no word yet on the chipset, cameras, or charging speeds, but more leaks are likely to follow as development continues.
