Samsung has started building anticipation for its upcoming Galaxy S26 series by releasing a set of official teaser videos that focus heavily on camera improvements. While the company has not yet confirmed a launch date, multiple reports suggest the Galaxy S26 lineup could be unveiled on February 25, with sales beginning sometime in March.
The newly released teasers emphasize enhanced zoom capabilities and improved low-light video performance. In the first video, Samsung showcases a user zooming in on a dog sitting inside a car, with the footage implying zoom levels that go well beyond 10x. However, Samsung also includes a disclaimer noting that some visuals in the teaser feature AI-generated backgrounds, suggesting that computational photography will play a bigger role in the Galaxy S26 camera experience.

ccording to current rumors, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a powerful telephoto setup, including a 50MP periscope camera with 5x optical zoom and an additional 10MP telephoto sensor offering 3x optical zoom. The standard Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ models are expected to either receive an upgraded 12MP 3x telephoto camera or continue using the 10MP telephoto unit found in the Galaxy S25 series.
The remaining teaser videos shift focus to low-light video recording, an area where Samsung appears to be aiming for noticeable improvements across the lineup. These enhancements are likely tied to both hardware upgrades and more advanced image processing.
The Galaxy S26 Ultra, in particular, is rumored to feature an improved 200MP primary rear camera with a wider f/1.4 aperture, which should allow more light to enter the sensor and further boost night photography and videography performance.

As with previous Galaxy S launches, Samsung is expected to offer different chipsets depending on the region. The Galaxy S26 series is likely to be powered by either the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC or Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2600 chipset.
With official teasers now live, more concrete details about the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to surface in the coming weeks as Samsung moves closer to launch.
