iQOO 15 Ultra Launch Date Confirmed, Key Specifications Leak

iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date of its next flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15 Ultra, following earlier teasers that hinted at a February debut. The company has now announced that the device will be unveiled in China on February 4, alongside the launch of the TWS Air3 earbuds. Ahead of the event, a prominent tipster has also shared major details about the phone’s hardware, giving a clearer picture of what to expect.

While iQOO has remained tight-lipped about most specifications, it has confirmed that the iQOO 15 Ultra will feature an active cooling fan, highlighting its focus on sustained performance. The smartphone will also sport a distinctive design and include shoulder trigger buttons with a 600Hz sampling rate, supported by independent control chips for improved responsiveness. The device is expected to launch in two color options.

According to well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 15 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It is tipped to offer configurations with up to 24GB of RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage. The handset is said to feature a 6.85-inch LTPO flat display with 2K resolution. On the camera front, it could come equipped with a triple 50MP rear camera setup and a 32MP front-facing camera. The phone is also rumored to house a massive 7,400mAh battery with support for 100W fast charging, along with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner for biometric security.
