iQOO is gearing up to launch the iQOO 15R in India, and while the brand has already teased the smartphone’s design, official specifications are yet to be confirmed. That hasn’t stopped early details from emerging, though, as the iQOO 15R has now appeared on Geekbench, revealing some of its most important hardware information.
Listed on the Geekbench database with the model number I2508, the iQOO 15R is shown to feature an octa-core processor consisting of two high-performance cores clocked at 3.8GHz and six efficiency cores running at 3.32GHz. The listing also mentions the Adreno 829 GPU, which strongly indicates that the device is powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

The Geekbench-tested unit of the iQOO 15R was running Android 16 and came equipped with 8GB of RAM. That said, additional memory variants are expected at launch. In terms of benchmark results, the device achieved a single-core score of 2,590 and a multi-core score of 8,423. Its GPU performance was equally impressive, with a Geekbench Compute score of 21,075, reinforcing iQOO’s claim of delivering “power-packed performance with a perfect fit.”
According to recent rumors, the iQOO 15R could essentially be a rebranded version of the iQOO Z11 Turbo, which debuted in China recently. If this turns out to be accurate, the Indian variant will share most of its core specifications with its Chinese counterpart.

In that case, the iQOO 15R is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and as much as 1TB of internal storage. The smartphone would likely ship with OriginOS 6 and feature a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1,260p resolution. For photography, it could sport a 32MP front-facing camera, while the rear setup may include a 200MP primary sensor paired with an 8MP ultrawide camera.
Powering the iQOO 15R is said to be a large 7,600 mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 100W fast charging. Additional highlights could include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, reverse wired charging functionality, and flagship-grade durability with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. If these specs hold true, the iQOO 15R is shaping up to be a compelling performance-focused smartphone for the Indian market.
