The Redmi Turbo 6 Max’s display details leaked yesterday, following earlier rumors that the phone would feature a battery larger than 10,000mAh. Now, a reliable tipster has shared a more specific figure.

According to the tipster, the phone will have an 11,000mAh battery rated at 40.72Wh. Although he did not identify the device by name, he described a Dimensity-powered performance phone with a 7-inch 2K display and an ultra-high refresh rate, matching the details reported for the Turbo 6 Max.

That would be a significant increase over the 9,000mAh battery in the Redmi Turbo 5 Max. The tipster also questioned whether such a large capacity would be enough.

Previous leaks have suggested the Turbo 6 Max will feature a 7-inch flat 2K OLED display with a 185Hz refresh rate and slim 1mm bezels on all sides. Other rumored specifications include a Dimensity 9500s chipset, a metal frame, IP68 and IP69 ratings, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and a dual rear camera system.

The Turbo 6 Max is expected to reach global markets as the Poco X9 Pro Max, following the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, which was rebranded as the Poco X8 Pro Max. However, it remains unclear whether the battery capacity will remain the same after the rebranding.
