In September 2025, Nothing CEO Carl Pei said the company planned to launch its first AI-native products in 2026. Pei has now confirmed that Nothing’s first AI-native product will debut next month, keeping that promise.

Nothing has not yet revealed what the product is, but Pei shared a few hints in an article posted on X, continuing the company’s teaser-driven approach.

According to Pei, the first AI-native product will not have a screen. He also said it “couldn’t have been an app”. The article includes a teaser image, although it only shows part of a device with rounded corners and curved edges.

No other details have been revealed so far. Pei said the product will have the “personality and care” associated with Nothing, adding that the company is well positioned to develop it because it designs its hardware and software in-house.

The article also explores how artificial intelligence could evolve into something that works on people’s behalf while continuing to serve as a productivity tool. It suggests that new technologies often gain traction in workplaces before becoming part of everyday life at home.

Nothing is also rumored to be working on AI-powered wearables, including smart glasses with and without cameras.
