Motorola has officially confirmed the launch date of its upcoming Signature 27 smartphone. The company first showcased the device during Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Summit in September but has yet to reveal its complete specifications and pricing.

Yesterday, Motorola’s Indian website indicated that the smartphone would arrive sometime in November. The company has now confirmed that the Signature 27 will officially launch on November 5.

The Signature 27 will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset. Motorola is also introducing its ArcticMesh cooling system, featuring a vapor chamber that is 40% larger than the one used in the previous generation.

For photography, the smartphone will feature a 50MP Sony Lytia 910 primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), alongside a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. The device will also feature audio technology developed in partnership with Bang & Olufsen.

On the software side, the Signature 27 will run Android 17 out of the box, with Motorola promising seven years of operating system updates.

Motorola has yet to reveal the remaining camera specifications. However, the large camera module visible on the device suggests there are several additional sensors yet to be detailed.

Pricing has also not been officially announced, although a recent European retailer listing suggests that the Signature 27 will not be positioned as an affordable smartphone.
