Redmi has revealed more details about the K100 ahead of its launch in China on October 26. The smartphone will join the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which were unveiled in August.

The Redmi K100 will feature a dual rear camera system led by a 50MP Light and Shadow Hunter 800 main sensor. The camera uses a 1/1.55 inch sensor with an f/1.68 aperture.

The phone will also feature an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance and an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner built into the display.

Redmi has confirmed additional features, including symmetrical dual speakers, seven antennas for improved connectivity and an 0815 X axis linear motor designed to deliver enhanced haptic feedback.

The Redmi K100 will pack a 10,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging. It will also feature a 6.83 inch AMOLED display.

The phone will be available in three colours, including the new Firefly Green option. Preorders are already open through Xiaomi’s official website in China.
