Google has begun teasing its upcoming fitness tracker, the Fitbit Edge, on X, confirming that the device will launch on October 12. The tracker leaked earlier this month, followed by reports revealing its expected pricing and full specifications.

According to the leaks, the Fitbit Edge will feature a 1.34 inch AMOLED display, up to seven days of battery life, or two days with the Always On Display enabled. Other features include 40 built in exercise modes, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and personalised coaching powered by Gemini.
The fitness tracker is expected to monitor steps, distance, heart rate, calories burned, sleep, menstrual cycles and skin temperature. Its sensors will also support atrial fibrillation detection, irregular heart rhythm monitoring, cardiac load tracking, fitness assessments and VO2 max measurements. The device is reportedly rated 5ATM and IP68 for water resistance.

The Fitbit Edge is said to measure 11.58mm thick, 39.22mm tall and 25.56mm wide, weighing 17.7g.
Pricing is rumoured to start at €179 in the Eurozone and £159 in the UK. Expected colour combinations include Obsidian and Matte Black, Olive and Satin Pyrite, Canyon and Champagne Gold, and Fog and Polished Silver.
