Xiaomi has confirmed that the 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will launch internationally, unlike their predecessors. With the Xiaomi 18 Ultra reportedly cancelled, the 18 Pro Max is expected to serve as the company’s flagship smartphone heading into 2027.

The global version of the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has now appeared in the Geekbench AI database under model number 2611FPNFAG. The listing confirms that it is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, matching the Chinese version. The tested prototype also comes with 12GB of RAM.

In China, the phone is available with up to 16GB of RAM, although it remains unclear whether the global version will offer the same configuration. Battery capacity is another uncertainty, particularly for European models. The Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro packs a 7,000mAh battery, while the Pro Max comes with an 8,500mAh cell. Whether these capacities will remain unchanged internationally is yet to be confirmed.

Both phones are expected to launch globally with Android 17 and Xiaomi’s HyperOS 4 interface.

The Chinese Xiaomi 18 Pro Max features a 6.9 inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1208 x 2624 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,000 nits. It also has a 2.9 inch LTPO AMOLED rear display with a resolution of 596 x 976 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 4,000 nits.

Storage options include 256GB, 512GB and 1TB. The camera system consists of a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilisation, a 200MP periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation and 3.2x optical zoom, a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP front camera.
