RedMagic is preparing to launch its next flagship gaming smartphone, the RedMagic 12 Pro+, in China next week. After recently revealing the phone’s design and colour options, the company has now shared details about its cooling technology.

RedMagic has confirmed that the 12 Pro+ will be the world’s first smartphone to feature an RGB liquid cooling system. However, the company has yet to explain how the RGB lighting will work.
The new cooling setup features a dual loop airflow design with a significantly larger surface area than the system used in the RedMagic 11 Pro+.

The RedMagic 12 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and feature an active cooling fan to help manage temperatures during demanding gaming sessions.
Despite its upgraded hardware, the phone will be slimmer and lighter than its predecessor. It will be available in three colour options and officially launch in China on October 15.
