RedMagic has officially confirmed that the RedMagic 12 Pro+ will launch on October 15 in China. The company will hold the launch event at 2:30 PM local time, following last week’s announcement that its next flagship gaming phone would arrive in October, along with early design details.

The RedMagic 12 Pro+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC. RedMagic says it has applied its “first class tuning” to deliver a significantly improved gaming experience with better visuals, while also improving the phone’s overall performance.

The 12 Pro+ is also expected to be RedMagic’s most comfortable phone to hold. Its redesigned body is lighter and thinner than its predecessor and features rounded corners. The shoulder triggers have also been given a more rounded design. The upcoming gaming phone will further feature display bezels measuring less than 1mm on all four sides.
