Previous rumors have suggested that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra will feature a redesigned camera island with an iPhone style plateau covering almost the entire width of the rear. The cameras are still expected to sit on the left side of the island.

A new rumor claims that the telephoto camera will be positioned on the right, with a microphone directly underneath it, followed by some unnamed sensors and a circular LED flash below them.

However, Ice Universe has disputed this arrangement. The latest claim says the camera at the bottom of the layout is actually the telephoto camera, while the LED flash sits above it.

The conflicting information suggests that the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s camera layout may still be changing or that the leaked renders are being interpreted differently. The exact position of the single telephoto camera is less significant than the reported change to the overall camera setup, with the S27 Ultra expected to feature only one telephoto camera instead of the two found on previous Ultra models.

A recent certification reportedly revealed that the Galaxy S27 Ultra will pack a 5,700mAh battery with support for 60W wired charging. Another recent rumor claims Samsung will offer the phone in three RAM and storage configurations, 12GB with 256GB, 12GB with 512GB, and 16GB with 1TB, matching the options available on its predecessor.
