Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 17C 5G is coming to India after unveiling the smartphone in Singapore last month. The company has also revealed the key specifications and color options for the Indian variant.

The Redmi 17C 5G will launch in India on October 1. Based on the official listing, the Indian version appears to be identical to the model already launched in Singapore.

The smartphone will feature a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It will also come with a 6.9 inch LCD display featuring a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate.

Powering the Redmi 17C 5G is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The phone will feature a 50MP rear camera alongside an 8MP front camera for selfies.

In India, the Redmi 17C 5G will be available in Coffee Brown, Dark Night, and Purple Dawn color options.
