Xiaomi has revealed more details about its upcoming 18 Pro series, including the launch date, colors, and several key specifications. The company has also confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will feature a hardware level privacy display.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will launch in China on September 23 with an upgraded rear display, HyperOS 4, and several other hardware improvements.

Both phones will feature a hardware level privacy display similar to the technology used on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Xiaomi has also confirmed a new M11 luminescent panel, which is claimed to be 20 percent more efficient than the previous generation.

According to Xiaomi, the new display will reach a peak brightness of 4,000 nits and offer greater efficiency than 2K resolution panels. The screens will also feature ultra thin 0.99mm bezels.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max will be available in Black, Galaxy Blue, and White.

Xiaomi has also confirmed the battery capacities. The Xiaomi 18 Pro will feature a 7,000mAh battery, while the 18 Pro Max will pack a larger 8,500mAh battery.

Both models will feature Leica branded triple rear camera systems with a 200MP primary sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro series will also use a 2nm chipset, which is expected to be Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro.
