vivo X500 Pro Max specs revealed ahead of September 21 launch

vivo is set to unveil the X500 series on September 21, and ahead of the launch, the main specifications of the flagship X500 Pro Max have been revealed.

The X500 Pro Max will feature a 6.85 inch flat LTPO OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and ultra thin bezels. It will be powered by the Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset and pack a 7,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and unspecified wireless charging.

The main rear camera will use Sony’s Lytia 910 1/1.28 inch type LOFIC sensor with 3 degree OIS. It will be joined by a 50MP ultrawide camera using Samsung’s ISOCELL JNX sensor and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera using Samsung’s ISOCELL HP0 1/1.4 inch type sensor.

The periscope camera is reportedly capable of CIPA 7.0 professional grade stabilization and will support a 400mm teleconverter.

The vivo X500 Pro Max is expected to reach global markets in October or November. Ahead of its international release, the smartphone has received certification for sale in the UAE from the TDRA, alongside the standard X500.
