Huawei has officially launched the MatePad Pro 12 (2026) globally at its Munich event, alongside the nova 16s series and its latest wearable devices. The tablet was first introduced in China last month and now makes its way to international markets.

The MatePad Pro 12 (2026) features a 12 inch OLED display with a 3,036 x 1,952 pixel resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1,600 nits of peak brightness. Huawei is also offering a PaperMatte version with an anti glare coating. Optional accessories include the M Pencil Pro stylus and Glide Keyboard cover.

Measuring just 4.7mm thick and weighing 454g, the tablet is remarkably slim and light. It is powered by Huawei’s Kirin T93 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage. The device runs HarmonyOS 4.3 out of the box.
The EU version comes with a slightly smaller 9,760mAh battery, while models sold in other markets feature a 10,400mAh cell. Both versions support 66W wired charging.

The Huawei MatePad Pro 12 (2026) is available in Blue and Space Gray. Huawei has not yet revealed pricing or specific availability details for the global market.
