Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and the rumored iPhone Ultra on September 9. The event falls on a Wednesday, which would normally mean pre orders begin on the following Friday.

However, a new rumor claims Apple could change that schedule this year. Instead of opening pre orders on Friday, September 11, Apple is reportedly planning to begin accepting orders on Saturday, September 12.

The timing could also be different from Apple’s usual schedule. Rather than starting pre orders at 5 AM PT, the company is rumored to open them at midnight PT on September 12.

The same schedule could reportedly apply to the Apple Watch Series 12 and other products announced during the September 9 event. However, the rumored iPhone Ultra may follow a different timeline, as previous reports have claimed that Apple’s new premium model could arrive after the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max despite being announced alongside them.
