Huawei has introduced two of its existing tablets to the Indian market. While neither model is new, both offer large displays and Huawei’s eye care technology at relatively affordable prices.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2025) features an 11.5 inch PaperMatte LCD designed to reduce reflections and light interference. Huawei claims the technology cuts ambient light reflections by 60% and reduces light interference by 99%. The display has a 2,456 x 1,600 resolution, 3:2 aspect ratio, 120Hz refresh rate and up to 600 nits of brightness.

The tablet comes bundled with a third generation Huawei M Pencil stylus and a detachable keyboard cover that can also be used wirelessly. It also includes WPS Office for document editing and Huawei Notes for organizing notes and sketches created with the stylus.

Measuring 6.1mm thick and weighing 515g without the keyboard, the tablet packs a 10,100mAh battery with 40W charging. It is powered by the Kirin T82B chipset and features four speakers. However, the tablet does not support Google Play services.

The MatePad 11.5 (2025) is available through Flipkart for INR 44,000 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It comes in Violet and Space Gray and does not include cellular connectivity.

The more affordable Huawei MatePad SE 11 is priced at INR 20,000 on Flipkart for the 8GB/128GB model. It features an 11 inch IPS LCD without PaperMatte technology, but offers 4,096 brightness levels, up to 600 nits and full range DC dimming. The display has a 1,920 x 1,200 resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio, while four speakers are also included.

The MatePad SE 11 has a thicker 6.9mm body despite having a smaller 7,700mAh battery. Charging is also slower at 22.5W. Unlike the MatePad 11.5, it does not come with a stylus or keyboard.

Both tablets have previously been released in other markets before making their way to India.
