Oppo is expected to introduce the Find X10 series in September. While the company has yet to announce an official launch date, a new report claims the upcoming smartphones could feature displays developed using Tianma’s latest OLED technology.

According to the report, Oppo and Tianma recently showcased the new Tianma Tiangong Screen 2.0 at an event in China, with the technology reportedly expected to make its debut on the Find X10 series.

The new panel uses Tianma’s N1 primary colour spectrum material, which is said to reduce harmful blue light by 3.7% while increasing deep red light output to 5.5%. The technology is also claimed to improve power efficiency by 16% and extend the display’s lifespan by nearly 33%.

Despite these improvements, the new screen reportedly won’t bring upgrades to resolution or refresh rate. However, it will feature Tianma’s own AI De Mura intelligent control algorithm, allowing the display brightness to drop as low as 0.01 nits.

Separately, Oppo has officially revealed details about its latest OLED display technology through a post on Weibo.

However, the company stopped short of confirming that the technology was developed together with Tianma or that it will actually appear on the Find X10 series.

Oppo’s announcement states that its fourth generation OLED light emitting material can cover 95% of the BT.2020 colour gamut. The company says the technology produces softer and more natural colours, while making the display more comfortable to view for longer periods and helping reduce eye fatigue.
